It takes special people to keep a company going for over fifty years. Jackson Automotive Group has been in business since 1955, when Leland Jackson first opened the doors as Jackson Oldsmobile. After 20 successful years selling Oldsmobile and later Pontiac cars, Jackson added Mercedes-Benz in 1976. In fact, Jackson Automotive Group was the second Mercedes dealer in the State of Georgia.
In 1992, Jackson Automotive Group added Volvo, continuing our evolution from mainstream auto dealer to luxury specialists. When Oldsmobile was discontinued by GM, Jackson became an all-luxury dealership in 2004. The dealership operated exclusively as a Mercedes-Benz/Volvo center from 2004 until January of 2009, when we were proud to add Subaru to our lineup of high-quality, exciting vehicles.
Jackson Automotive Group is a member of the Better Business Bureau and the Macon Chamber of Commerce, and has previously been honored by that organization as Business of the Year. We are also proud sponsors of the American Heart Association.
Jackson Automotive Group continues to be family-owned and operated, with our current president, Jimmy Jackson. Throughout our staff, we have seasoned professionals who have spent many years working with us.
